The Good Cook is a small company offering cooking classes in a party setting to children, adults of all ages, specialty classes for men and small plate catering.

Tenderloin of Pork: Tender and moist with whole grain dijon mustard and panko crust.

Veal Chops, Sauteed with Lemon and Caper Sauce over soft polenta.

Sandwich Board: Roast Turkey, Roast Beef, and Ham specialty sandwiches and wraps.

Desserts: made from scratch - always fresh, always innovative and delicious.

Chocolate-Almond stuffed figs: surrounded by flaky, delicate phyllo. Served warm from the oven

Chocolate Fudge (no pudge) mini cupcakes. Made with whole wheat pastry flour and topped with chocolate glaze and cream cheese swirl. No will guess they are low cal.

Peanut butter & jelly shortcake: for the young and the young at heart. Your choice of jam filling.

And more! Sides, Salads (like Arugula with walnuts, blue cheese and pecan crisps) to soup to nuts. The Good Cook will have you out of the kitchen and enjoying your guests. And your guests won't stop raving!

From Appetizers, Main Course and Desserts, The Good Cook can provide you with all the delicious, expertly prepared food you need to make your special occassion memorable.

Items can be ordered and delivered in advance and will need gentle cooking or reheating prior to serving OR The Good Cook can provide an on-site cook (and servers if needed) for your event.

Mushroom Tarts: creamy wild mushrooms in a flaky, sour cream crust.

Mini-Crabcakes: nothing here but jumbo lump Maryland crabmeat and seasonings. Served with Chipotle Pepper Aioli.

Artichoke Hearts with Lemon Aioli: crisp, parmesan coated artichoke hearts with a tangy lemon mayonaisse.

Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail: Always a classic, fresh, crisp and flavorful with homemade cocktail sauce.

Baked Mussels: Green Lip mussels with parmesan topping - hot from your oven.
